~ Miriah the Mermaid ~

Introducing Miriah the Mermaid.

Inspired by our Under the Sea theme, for June, this little red haired mermaid came to life, swimming by a sunken ship, she is created from oils and acrylics, which catches the light.

This is an ACEO, 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", about the size of a deck of cards. These miniature paintings are highly collectable.

This paintings are linked on ebay on my ACEO website or directly to my auction at the below links.

May I say beautiful scottish scene by my fellow artist!

A Scottish scene

This watercolour painting 14"x11" is a recollection of the granduer of the West coast of Scotland, remembered from one of my visits some time back. You cannot fail to be inspired by the rugged beauty of the place, always inspiring for an artist.

This is great!

And I sure appreciate the invitation Jillian!

A small wooden art piece I did last year, for my mom, the cat picture collector!

I am looking forward to getting my hands in 'virtual' paint, been doing so much graphic artwork lately...my brushes have cobwebs on them!

Thanks...and I'll be back!

New Listing Original Art -- It's been a while!

Well, it's been several months since I've listed anything new in my store or in auction. Between puppies and home schooling and softball for my daughter...not much time left for painting. Wow!

http://stores.ebay.com/Heather-Sky-Studio-Gallery

Anyway, I do have some new stuff up this week. It will probably be the ONLY new stuff for a while as my daughter will be starting soccer, and we are getting chickens ... maybe even goats, still wondering if I shouldn't wait a year on that one.

Anyhoo! Check em out, see anything you like or want to pass on or have any questions, let me know. I'll be hanging around in the house today as it's raining and yucky out side today - no gardening for now :-p

Oh, and for those of you who live up here in Washington, near Port Townsend, I have some similar pieces and parts of this series hanging at Gallery 9 - down on Water Street.

Ok, I'm off! Thanks for reading the rambling this far! Have a great day all...

Chris
