Combination Watercolor, Ink, and Acrylic Painting
My neighbor is on vacation and I’m watching her garden. This week I took the opportunity to paint some of her flowers. This is my abstract take on her hydrangea.
This small format artwork (4.5" X 6.5") is a combination watercolor, ink, and acrylic painting. The challenge for me today was to stay loose while painting. The 140 lb. watercolor block gave me that opportunity. The artwork did not have a chance to buckle under the pressure of the ink and acrylic. Enjoy!

Very nice. You've captured it. I can never draw or paint flowers or scenery. I don't know why. I probably need a class in that.
