Although I'm now a city girl, I long for days gone by when I spent many happy hours at my aunt's farm in the country. And much of my work comes from memories of those nostalgic scenes.
Here's one of my recent pieces. It's a 5" x 7" watercolor depicting a country quilt on the washline, just as I remember it.

Delightful Lanie. I can relate to this, and the air is light and breezy - very reminiscent of the country.
