Ruby Throated Hummingbird in Acrylics

 



Enjoyed painting this one - everything just seems to work.

 

The Ruby Throated Hummingbird is the smallest bird that breeds in Eastern United States and Eastern Canada.  It measures only 7 - 9 cm in length and weighs between 2 - 6 grams.  

 

Ruby Throated Hummingbird measures 8 x 10 inches and is painted on Fredrix Archival Watercolour Canvas Board.
