Unique paper supplies for collage art works and crafts.

Although I've sold well over 20 of these, I finally got around to making up some more. They are selling fast. 4 out of the 5 I made have now sold, but I'll be making and listing more in the next few days. So check my Etsy store.
See my "Dreamy Papers" store on Etsy HERE.
Most of the papers are over 100 years old. The images are old ones, too. All are OOAK, unique. These are wonderfully inspiring for projects that may need paper to be incorporated in them. I know how long it took me to collect the papers, images, and tools to make all these, so understand that sometimes your creative project is delayed while you accumulate what you need.
With these grab bags you have inspiration and supplies at hand - ready to go.

Use for ACEOs, collages, art journals, scrapbooking, greeting card creations, tags, project life projects, ATCs, altered art, altered bottles, altered tins, canvas art, artwork, and much more.
See the description for more information in my Etsy store.

I even have this very simple sample showing how one might use some of the shapes in these packages (shapes vary with, and in, EACH package), all are OOAK, unique:

SFA - ACEO Halloween art card series #7-10

Number 7-10 in a series. ACEO Halloween theme using unique papers, and vintage images. Some pages are over 100 years old, handwritten, and all are on a Poe book from the early 1970s. Original collages art cards. These are listed by me - artistjillian on eBay.  But thought you might like to see my collages using digital images.

SFA - ACEO sized original unique papers Halloween collages.

Numbering my ACEO art cards was up to a number ending in 13, so instead of creating one ACEO with that number I am doing a mini series of Halloween original collage art cards.
I've completed the first 6 in this series, and not sure how many I'll continue doing, the elements used are the same, but the look is different for each.

I use a page from a 1971 Edgar Allan Poe book, bats printed onto a very old book page, part of a ledger with handwriting over 100 years old. Vintage and antique images of Halloween themes printed onto a transparency, which is secured with metal brad shapes.

I then add a few elements that seem 'appropriate' for that particular image - these included antique and specialty papers, real leaves, and other things that just seem to 'fit'.

Fun to do.

I'm listing them on eBay - so you can see my Halloween art offerings HERE.

SFA and Art Abandonment

Hello everyone!

For many years I have been making little pieces of art and abandoning them around my community and in other areas as I travel.  There's something just so fun (and sneaky) about leaving a piece of art for someone else to find and (hopefully) enjoy and treasure.  My imagination runs wild at all the possibilities of where my art will end up.

Anyway, I belong to a really fun Facebook group called "Art Abandonment" which started not too long ago. This idea has really caught on in recent times and all kinds of artists are participating in our "art by stealth" approach to sharing our work.

This link is to my blog post where I show some of my original, one-of-a-kind art magnets (business card sized at 2" X 3.5") that I have been abandoning during the month of January.  My plan is to do this once a month at least.  I already have my February stash ready to go and it will end up somewhere between Kelowna, British Columbia, Calgary, Alberta and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on my upcoming vacation.

This is SO much fun and I encourage any artist to consider checking this out as a fun way to share their art.

Cheers!
Joanna
